I agree! If the color Sony that's coming out had a SB slot instead of a Memory stick that would be the PDA for me! That and the 64 MB Ipaq (Don't kill me!) I have often found myself only having one hand free (No not like that You sicko!) and needing some information thats on my visor. The Jog dial is smart. Now handspring needs to be REALLY smart and combine the Visor, TRG Pro, Sony Clie, and IPaq to have the ultimate device!Imagine... Palm OS,A Springboard Sleeve, REAL SOUND, Jogdial, headphone jack, power connector so you dont need the cradle to recharge, just the jack, voice recording, more memory and a Reflective TFT Screen so I can actually read the darn thing outside. Id snap one up the second I could. Drooooll..

All I want for Ayyamiha is...

As long as we're all posting our wish lists..

Active matrix Organic LED panel, say 3x5", that rolls up into the base unit, about the size of a Visor, now, with
built in stereo audio capability and upgradeable video capture module.
the ability to handle streaming multimedia, hardware-wise, so that when I plug in my 3G wireless module, I can watch tv or listen to RealPlay channels...
Separate module areas: I shouldn't have to choose between wireless connectivity and other modules.. I should be able to have my communication module in 24/7 and swap out my MiniJammed, AyeModule, WeiserFone, whatever..
and with the wireless connectivity, who cares how much storage the thing has; I want it to act as a portal to web storage or to my home computer, so I can access ALL my stored MP3 files, ebooks, etc. rather than having to actually store and tote them with me everywhere.. what's the point of wireless if you're hand carrying your data?
The jog dial sounds like a nifty feature..I'll take one of those, too.

jog dial

Well, I can now say this, and really mean it, if there is anything on the web, it can be found on google. I was search last night for "jog dial"+"visor" and came up with a site. One of those jap sites that have pda mods. I got it translated and saved it on my webserver. It has all the plans needed. Personally, I don't want to do this myself, but if anyone wants to do it, and really can, and is willing to do it on mine, I'd be willing to pay for their time.

English translation is: http://new2600.cjb.net//visor/trans...%20Concerto.htm

the original non translated ver is:
http://new2600.cjb.net/visor/Visor%20Concerto.htm

Thanks for the link. The jog dial is a good idea (although not something I could make), and I've played around with various ways of connecting my Nokia and Visor to use the IR connection.

And I totally agree with you about OS upgradeability. I think that's the single biggest drawback of a Visor right now (I almost didn't get a Visor at all because of this). Is the non-upgradeability thing because there is a hardware or software constraint, or is it more of a legal issue about licensing the OS?

Whoa!!! Small world! I also live in South Bend, only a few miles from Notre Dame. Can you tell me approximetly where you are? I don't want to know your address, of course, but it's nice to know a fellow Visor owner in my hometown. Anyway, back on topic, HS says that they are fully upgradable by Springboard modules, but I haven't seen a 3.5 springboard for the deluxe/solos. I think they mean that the downloads/modules fix bugs. I wouldn't think that the OS licensing would be illegal, if the founder of HS also founded palm, and because they already have the OS, they should be able to upgrade it. I think it's a hardware constraint.
