Cool

Someone on this forum brought up the notion of not all springboards being smaller than the Visor. Use the Visor as a control or display. OK, how about having a springboard based docking station in your car so that the Visor monitors and stores performance data such as rpm, mileage, ignition advanc, turbo pressure, engine temp, coolant temp, oil temp & pressure and others. I am also an auto enthusiast and have started playing with the many computer based performance and monitoring tools popping up. Probably a limited market at the beginning though. As a future enhancement, connect it all to something like the Clarion AutoPC as well..

This can be done with the Datastick MyCorder (http://www.datastick.com). There are people putting together sensor arrays in a car to do just this. Get a vehicle mount from Revolv (http://www.revolvedesign.com) and the right sensors, you are in business!
