Unhappy

I want purple so bad, I'm kind of upset that I didn't get a Palm so I could get the purple cool colors cover. Isn't that silly? There has to be something we can do!

Have you considered dismantling your Visor and using some purple enamel spray paint?

I hadn't thought about that. I would be too afraid of ruining my visor. Is there someplace possibly that has instructions on doing this? Have you done this before? It sounds like an interesting prospect.

You know, I could swear that someone did this about a year ago with a Palm III... the only bit I remember from that was that he scraped the paint off from inside the holes for the buttons so the buttons would work normally.

i'm assuming this is the SE transparent model? Spraying the inside of a black PalmIII wouldn't do much?

Lightbulb

Hi there everybody I a new GVD owner of 1 month and have been reading very intently all of these Visor central Posts.
Anyway about colors my philosophy is to get in on the ground floor. And there is somebody out there developing a new "flip case" at www.re-visor.com why not contact him to provide colors while he is still developing!!!!

No. He disassembled the Palm III so he wouldn't paint the screen and buttons when he spray painted the case.

ahhhh!!! the outside!!! I was picturing something else. This topic came up back in january or around there. the idea was to take a VDx ICE and open it up. then spray painting the INSIDE of the ice case with a purple colour. Giving it that 'hazed out' look i guess.
