I hope they have Platinum in ice color, graphite is dull, silver is rubbed off.

I wouldn't mind if they made the plat a little thinner and added a color screen, either.

But yeah if they had a $50 rebate on the Vpl I'd have splurged for that instead of the Vdx.

Other than the color, the Platinum outer shell is the same part as the Deluxe.

If you could somehow find a source for the shell period, it would be a simple replacement job. So. Anyone have a lead on visor shells / casings? I have been looking for a while with no luck. Kind of sucks that you can't buy the cheap plastic casing, grrrr...
