Does any have a program called amx.prc running are their visor?

(NOTE: The only way you can find out is if you have beam box or some other program that will show ALL programs installed.)

I never installed the palm enhancedIR update, but I have found this file on my visor. Can't seem to delete it either.

According to everything I've read, you don't this file on the visor because it can make beaming lock up the unit.

any thoughts or ideas are greatly appreciated.

AMX.PRC is included by Handspring in the Visor ROM. That's why you can't delete it and also why you can't install the one from the IR Enhancement Update (it will conflict with the ROM version). The Visor's AMX.PRC has been "tweaked" by Handspring to support their USB implementation.
