I was pleased to read the article on the Handspring Foundation grants. Both the size of the grants and the designees seem to be in keeping with a company that reflects good personal values. I understand that a corporation is not a person but my interactions with Handspring have shown that this company continues to maintain a human face.
Bravo Handspring Foundation!

I agree
I think it is great too. I always try to support companies that give to charity. I think its a good thing!

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is probably the most important giver right now. Handspring, though a much smaller company, is showing that philanthropy is a venue open to all. The tech companies are definitely the new philanthropists.
