Hello,
Which one is faster : syncing via the infrared port (with IrLink software) or via the serial cradle ?
USB cradle is much faster than IR, but how compares serial to IR ? Anyone an idea ?

I have not benchmarked, so I do not know ... But my assumption would be that serial would be faster. The reason, there is more over head in the IR protocols used to deal error detection and recovery.

From my experience the serial synch is about
twice as fast as the IR synch.

On a Palm OS v3.3 device, IR is faster.
