Question

Does anyone know what the range of the IR signal is?

I know that on the Visor it is on the left, but will we be able to use OmniRemote etc.?

The PUG reviewer reported in another thread that he had been unable to get Omniremote to function on his demo unit.

There is a remote program currently in development. It is a springboard by Pacific Neo-Tek

If you look at the press releases on the handspring site, you'll see that Pacific Neotek (makers of Omniremote) are listed in the companies which are currently working on Springboards. There is also a thread on the issue in the Springboard discussion area here.

You might also email Pacific Neotek to let them know there are people building interest in a springboard from them.

You can email them at [email protected]
