Question

My friend had noticed that the Visor's IR seems to be weaker then the Palm's IR. We have to be significantly closer when we want to beam stuff from our Visors to one another. But when we are beaming to our friend's Palm IIIxe, we can stand farther away and beam. Is there any software out there that will beef up the Visor's IR?

How are you holding them? You have to hold them in an L shape like this: http://www.visorcentral.com/images/VisorBeam.jpg

I'll add that positioning in the vertical plane is also important. This can pose problems because some folks really mash their handhelds when then make selections with their stylus - - enough to move their handheld out of alignment in the vertical plane.
