Question

Now what is the exact definition of a conduit?

I know that a conduit is used to specify the type of info exchange that takes place when a hot sync takes occurs. But is it more then that?

Is Pocketmirror a type of conduit?

I've seen people mention that they have multiple conduits, does this mean several different settings for conduits, or several different conduits.

For example: Could I have a conduit for Outlook at work and a different one for the Palmdesktop at home?

Is there a Hack that allows you to switch between conduits?

Am I using the word conduit right?

PocketMirror uses conduits to sync the data between the Visor and Outlook.

Yes... you can use Outlook on one PC and the Desktop on another. As for multiple conduits, right-click the HotSync icon, select Custom..., and you will see all the conduits currently installed and their status.

Not that I'm aware of. Conduits actually reside on the desktop, not the Visor.

I'd say yes to that
