Not all online trading companies receive shares for IPOs, I know that E*trade will and is set for Monday. My account is ready. Can't wait to get my hands on Handspring's stock!

Yeah, but I'm a low-cash student who wants to invest in maybe 3 shares. Any ideas?

Exclamation

I will purchase some shares eventually, but certainly not on day one! I think everyone has heard of the Palm shares skyrocketing to 165 and now only to be trading in the high 20's. If there is hype, I'd rather sit on the sidelines until the dust clears.

Jeff, don't know the answer to buying only a few shares. You may want to call some of the companies and see what they say. You may have to go through a "human broker" vs trying to do it online. If you do manage to get some shares, though, be prepared for a bumpy ride. Stocks have a tendency to do that.

I read somewhere that the min. purchase price is $180 which would be about 10 shares.

At what time will ticker prices appear on sites like Yahoo! Finance?

Cool

As of Tue Jun 20 2000 11:45 AM EDT, Handspring stock still lists a zero price on Yahoo! Finance. However, AltaVista's Money section lists Handspring at $14 3/16 per share (although there is no trade information, it's been at this price since yesterday afternoon when I checked.
