I remember hearing back in the spring about incompatability of the Outlook 2000 security patch with hotsyncing with Outlook via pocket mirror. 1.) is this still the case, even with the new pocket mirror upgrade from Chapura?
2.) I currently use the Visor (Palm) desktop and before I update with the security patch, will I be able to use the Palm email conduit after updating? It's still not clear to me whether a problem exists with the Palm desktop and synching Outlook 2000 through the Palm email conduit after installing the SR-1a security patch (the upgrade for all of MS Office 2000). I am deciding whether to change to hotsynching with Outlook versus using the palm desktop. Should I NOT install the Outlook 2000 security patch?

Mark is right. PocketMirror 3.0 Standard, a free upgrade, supports Outlook 2000 Security Update. I have this Security Update installed on Outlook 2000 and have just upgraded PocketMirror. I have no issues.
