CASE: Visor, cell phone, & possibly Stowaway

Hi,

I'm looking for a case that will accomodate both my visor and my cellphone. Actually, if it can also accomodate my Stowaway, that would be best. Right now, my solution was to buy a closeout (read: very cheap) Daytimer zippered binder, throw away all the calendar sheets, and just toss the cell phone and Visor in there. But I figure someone must have come up with a way to carry both! Anyone have suggestions? thanks!

RhinoSkin 2000 or 3000 (I prefer the 3000)

Thanks! I gather these look rugged enough to not appear too man-purse-ish?

Well, they DO come with a shoulder strap if you want them to appear purse-ish (didn't Jerry Seinfield call them a "European" or something?). I have a ShockSuit and a Rhinopak 3000. I can keep my Visor in the ShockSuit and carry it and my Stowaway in the 3000 with no problems. It works quite well.

One way to make the daybinder idea work better is to put velcro in it and on your visor and cellphone (not sure if you like that idea - on the visor you can put the original flip cover on the BACK side of the visor and put velcro on that) and then they won't rattle around in the binder. I haven't used it but someone suggested the idea when I wanted a case for my keyboard and visor.

European Carry All

I use a shoulder bag from bannana republic - I think they stopped carrying mine, but they have other small shoulder bags designed for men. When I was in Hong Kong I saw a great leather shoulder bag made by Kenneth Cole that I'm still looking for here.

These bags are great - thick shoulder strap, big metal buckles give it a heafty look and feel and I'm not uncomfortable wearing it at all (as far as appearances go). I think in the next few years these types of man-bags will become more and more popular as we have more crap to carry:
wallet, keys, pda, cell phone, etc... I love it - it'll even fit my small toshiba portege and an umbrella for business trips or when traveling! My friends call it my batman bag because I'm always pulling something out of it!

here's the banana republic bag:

I found a 'Royal Traveler' by Samsonite at a local Office Max (or Office Depot or one of those chain stores) that's been working fairly well. It's a black canvas type material with one big compartment and a couple smaller ones. Don't see a pic of it at the Samsonite site though.

Am able to store VDX w/VisorPhone, eyemodule, Thinmodem+, Stowaway, beeper, a pen or 2, Vphone charging cable, ICU Accessories charging goodies, modem cables, and probably 1 or 2 or two other items I'm forgetting.

Others may think it a bit purshish looking, but who give's a fat rat's a.....er, let me re-phrase that....who cares.<g> I'm mobile as heck and don't have to carry that boat anchor most people refer to as a 'laptop' any longer...except on special occasions.
