Alright, I'm in the market for a PDA and have narrowed the selection down to either the Palm IIIx or the Visor Deluxe. They both have pros and cons but what I want to know is when is it shipping? I can't get anything out of the support. All they offered was...

Just keep monitoring here! I guarantee that when someone has received an email stating confirmation of order and shipping date for the Visor it won't take more than a couple of minutes for it to be posted.

My guess is that if you ordered a Visor today you won't see it before Halloween. There are probably hundreds of us who ordered on Sept. 14th and we have the patience to have waited this long after enduring hours on the phone listening too Muzak about how are call would be answered in the order received. Heck, I wore out a cell battery waiting the first night.

But if you can't wait.....go down to your local brick and mortar store and purchase the PalmIIIx.

I keep coming here hoping that someone has posted the notice of receiving either the unit or the email confirmation, not yet.
