Question

I downloaded Showtime (program for getting movie times into your visor) and have set the Perl script up (I'm an Australian user) and run it, but am getting no data in any of the files. I have read through the accompanying documentation and it suggests that this may be a problem with the URLs or a problem with whether or not you specify to use a proxy. I have triple checked the URLs and these are not the problem. I don't believe it is a problem to do with the proxy since I don't access the net through a proxy and so should be able to leave that line commented out. I have emailed the creator with no response. Does anyone have any suggestions? I suppose it is possible that the Yahoo movies format has changed since the script was developed and no longer works for Australian users. Help!

Showtimes works for me. I am in the US 95129 area code. Perhaps you can compare the format of the Yahoo Movies address to the format for your area.

You are using the appropriate URL and USERNUM in GETDATA.CFG, right?
