Cool

And they said the the visor wansn't upgradeable! Well it is, but it comes at a small cost. if you want the next OS update bad enough($85's enough) a simple crack in the LCD screen and a send out for a replacement should do the trick and maybe get you a visor with the new OS when it comes out.

I don't think Handspring has a license for Palm OS 3.5...just 3.0. This may be a wait and see thing...

Well in the interview with Jeff a while back, he said they have a license with palm to the effect of 5+ years. And it sounded like that whatever level Palm's OS is they can get it and do minor changes to it

Talking

With all due respect the whole thing sounds like a snitty idea to me.

Why not wait for compatibility and download it at no cost?

I must be losing my mind.

My booboo.. I'm seeing "reports" that there will be a fee les than $20. But you do the math.

Well, this is only for major updates, like OS 3.1 to OS 3.5. . . and the next time someone pulls that snitty joke, I'm going to go postal!

Do files get embarrassed when they get unzipped?
