I have a Visorphone on order. I'd like to use it to dial in to work and read email. Our login requires a Windows NT domain login/authentication. Is this possible with the dial-up software that comes with the Visor/VisorPhone? If not, is there a good "dial-up networking" type client software available?

thanks,

Mike

I have tried to login to a NT domain that runs a Cisco Access Server instead of RAS w/ modems...but have not succeeded in authenticating.

But I use my Visorphone to connect to my ISP all day long...and can then POP mail, surf, run PQA's, etc.

I am curious to start working on solutions to access network resources with it however...but at 14.4kbps, I can't imagining being able to do much...until Citrix comes out with a thin client for the Palm to run Metaframe sessions! That will be sweet! Running MS Office on my Visor over a wireless connection...I can't wait!

I use my VPR and Visorphone to connect to a Windows RAS box and log on to an NT domain without any problem. When you configure your service under Preferences/Network, just set your User Name to include your NT domain name and a backslash, for example domain_one\jsmith.
