Yup; I saw both Handspring and Palm booths at the San Francisco MacWorld Expo a year ago. At that time, I'd had my own blue Vdx for a few weeks, so I was pretty excited to learn what there was available.
It's where I first saw the Stowaway Keyboard. At the time, they only had a beta model there (since you may recall it was not available to purchase for many months after that), but I think the rep had to wipe it up after I had a chance to drool all over it!!
I don't know about this year, but last year both Handspring and Palm had a bunch of small stuff to give away, like a pen cap stylus and regular cheap styli. They WERE periodically giving away free PDAs but I didn't win any.
I'm hoping to spend a lot of time at those booths this year and just be generally nosey. As a woman sometimes I feel like I'm being ignored (what, do I really have to wear a crisp three-piece suit and dangle money on front of these guys to notice me?) but I'm learning how to deal with these computer conventions. I just ignore the exhibit bunnies (the "models" that are hired to wear skimpy clothing and hawk wares but who don't know Mac from McDonald's). Heh.
