Question

nwhitfield:
You said you got your Visor connected to your mobile phone. Does it mean you can send emails from any phone with an infrared port? Do you need any special software?

ToolkiT: Check out ezboard.com, they offer free web boards that are really easy to set up. You can be up and running in minutes.

I forgot my age in the previous post, Im 17.
Im one of the guys that managed to kill their Visor. Someone stepped on my Visor a while ago and the screen was cracked. I called HS support and they said they would replace it. Now Im again waiting for a Visor to arrive in the US :-(

My colleague at work just showed me how his Visor and protable phone communicate with each other. Apparently he bought a Siemens Model SM2 with a built in modem (not a soft modem), so that he can surf or synchronize abroad if necessary. He hasn't set up everything yet, but was just able to show me how he saved display graphics for the Handy on the Visor and set them over with IR.

Question

Hi!

I tried to suggest the Visor in LetsBuyIt.com in Sweden but it doesn't seem to have worked. I can't find it anywhere, eihter as a suggestion or a product. If it works it would be a pretty good way to get it to Europe I think? Has anyone else tried this with Letsbuyit?

/Kallisti

jack, sweden
ToolkiT, the Netherlands
Goyena, Germany
Mtel, denmark
popete, spain
Ludo, france
Goyena's wife, french but lives in Germany (I assume)
agoldfish, UK

When we have 50 members I will setup a web-page. When we have 100 members I will organize a meeting somewhere in Europe...

Ok, what are the rules? pretty easy, there is no membeshipfee but you have to be friendly/welcome to any other EVC-member whenever they are around. (that means like helping to find a fellow member a place to stay when they are in your country, offer them some food etc.) basically your normal behaviour.

You become member by posting your (user)name
location and age here...

Hello fellow EVC-members, tonite I added the modules and hardware-section to my german-speaking site http://getaccess.to/visor

, and 'ad.visor', I did not took anything off your site, which by the way looks still better'n mine. Im eagerly awaiting comments especially but not only from the german speaking part of our EVC-commune.

Until later, we see us?? in Hannover / CEBIT
