Cool The new sound module from Hagiwara.

You can check the specification here:

According to their Japanese news, it will be out on July 19.

basically it's just a speaker with several tones and a game. what's an FM tone? why couldn't they add like an AM/FM radio or something?

I am wondering if you have used a PC or not. Basically, your PC sound card IS FM. It contains an FM synthesizer. Not the FM radio you are listening to. FM/AM radio and a sound card are two totally different products. I don't understand why you put them together here.
Besides, adding sound to Visor is not "just". Have you heard the sound quality of Tealmovie? It's the worst sound quality I have ever heard. Just better than no sound. Adding a sound module to Visor will greatly improve all this.

what id like to see is an eyemodule three that will record quicktime movies with sound then use this module to play them. THat would be pretty decent but im sure would consume a lot of memory.

This is a good idea but I don't know how pratical it is.

The only reason I put them together is that one made me think of the other, not because the two have anything to do with each other really.

I guess if you're watching a lot of videos on the Visor, then I guess it's okay. Just seems a little silly to me. I think the module would be a LOT more practical if it included an AM/FM radio is all.

Your kidding right? The only reason I have a movie on my Visor is because I have a MemPlug with unlimited space to keep a clippit to wow my firends. I can't have the sound card and MemPlug in at the same time so I would be unable to play any movies. This is where the Pocket PC kills the Palm OS. Palm/Handspring needs to build this feature in to the next generation products.

Different strokes I guess. The last thing I ever do with my Visor is use it to wow my friends. The only reason I'd want any better sound capabilities in a Visor can be summed up in four letters: DTMF.
