If the 6162 has the same connector as the 6185/6150, then look here:

I am beating this issue to death...sorry

I found that the 6162 which I have, uses a DAR-3

is this the equivalent of the DLR-3? And do I need the NOK-3 in addition to the DAR-3 and the DCH-M9?

I don't think that one will do what you're looking for. I posted a link on one of the other threads which will take you to an online retailer with whom I've had good experience. From what I can tell, the DLR-3 is a DAU-9P along with a null modem adapter and a driver diskette for Windows. The DAU-9P is also available separately or as a bundle with Fonesync in lots of computer-type stores. All of this is dependent on AT&T's network supporting wireless data through your 6162 of course.
