Finally - I think that I found the cause of my Hotsync/soft-reset problem.

A little while back I posted about problems I was having with Hotsyncing and having to soft-reset two or three times to get my Visor to sync. I couldn't figure out the problem - I ended up talking to Handspring's tech support and they sent me a replacement unit. After I got the replacement unit I Hotsynced, loaded everything up and away I went - but still had the sync problem. I just accepted that I would have to live with it.

Until... I purchased a Visor for my boss for Christmas. Last week he started experimenting with third-party software and downloaded SilverScreen. Ever since he put SilverScreen on his Visor - he has the same soft-reset problem that I have.

Is anyone else experiencing this or know a possible cause? I sent an email to PocketSensei (developer) to see if they know about any bugs. It's not like my boss and I have the same third-party apps, either. He has only one other third-party app installed besides SilverScreen and it's one that I don't have. Silver has to be causing the problem - now I just need to figure out the solution.

By the way, if I exit SilverScreen before I Hotsync it works slick - not a single problem. Hopefully that is not my solution, though.
