unsuccessful firmware update

hi there,

i own a Handspring Visor Prism and a Magellan GPS Companion,

while trying to update my Magellan GPS Companion's firmware, i pressed "cancel" button. due to incomplete update, when i start my prism with the GPS module inserted, it gives a "fatal exception" and locks, but without the module, prism works fine. i downloaded the palm debugger and i found the "flash" command that flashes somewhere of prism. can this command be used for flashing the Companion's firmware. if so, what is the memory address of the Companion module? and how can i obtain the firmware image? or do you have any other suggestion to operate the Companion again?

please help,

tia,

(i tried hard and soft resets, both for prism and Companion)
