Well, you need the flash adapter (Pick one: Matchbook drive (http://www.matchbookdrive.com/), InnoPocket FlashPlus (same URL), or a MemPlug CF (http://www.portableinnovation.com/). You also need a compact flash card (I recommend http://www.newegg.com/).

I have had my Prism for about a year and want to expand my memory and haven't much beyond a clue on how to proceed. Help is appreciated.
The first three, I believe, are all about the same. The FlashPlus, however, is an expandable solution. You can get CompactFlash cards as big as 256MB (and larger ones soon). You can also use multiple cards and swap them around.
I am not sure if you can run programs or access data that is on the Flash modules without moving them to main memory; I think you can, but I've never used one.
The FlashPlus, as it stands right now, cannot run programs or access data that is on the CF card; you have to manually move the program or data to the Visor before you can use it.
HOWEVER, the company that has written the software to make the flash adapters work (Kopsis at http://www.kopsisengineering.com/) is beta testing a new version that lets you run programs off the CF card and keep data on the card (as long as the program that uses the data knows about memory cards.) Although it is in beta, it works exceptionally well. I've got a VDx with 7.5mb free memory, but I can stick in a Matchbook drive and have Mapopolis (http://www.mapopolis.com/) and several megs of maps available. Or I can stick in another and have SplashPhoto and a bunch of pics available. This really is incredible software from a company that really knows what support should be like.
So, to sum up, I have a couple of FlashPlus adapters and quite a few Matchbook drives, and I absolutely love them.
