GoType Pro syncing with Serial?

Ok guys, Landware says I can do it, if I can find a USB -> Serial adapter...until my company upgrades us from NT, this is my only solution short of buying the serial cradle.

Then I'm stuck swaping the Plat in and out of the keyboard.

Anyone seen one of these?

There are adapters to convert a desktop USB port to serial but not to make a standard serial into USB.

I knew that would be an issue...but I could've swore I saw one packaged with something...like a USB mouse that you could convert into a serial mouse, but just can't remember what it was. I was hoping someone else had solved this problem already...thanks.

Those typically convert a mouse to a PS/2 connection which is not the same as standard serial. The basic problem is that a USB interface needs power that is not supplied by a serial connection. Unfortunately, your only options are a serial cradle or cable.
