How do I get it so that only Action Names syncs? Is it possible? Do they all share the same db file or is the 117k for Datebook and 182k for Datebook+ in addition to the 288k of ActionNames? When I view all these files (assuming that LaunchEm is counting their dedicated db files), their byte counts look like they're all drawing off my Outlook contacts, todo and calendar individually. Are they?

They all share the same Palm db's.
