MP3 Players
Well, there is an mp3 player that uses both SM and CF, but I can't remember the name or web addy. I think it was around $200, including a 32MB SM card. I use a Fuji Finepix 4700 dig cam, and already have about 4 SM cards for it. This is the BOMB! Now, maybe I can use my SM cards for all my toys! Coolest thing about SM: you can mail them in a letter!

It seems that the SmartMedia card will stick out of the module by around 2mm so you can grab it. That sounds about right for my beefy fingers.
Any idea if these people are planning on making at CompactFlash version? I want to use one of those IBM Microdrives!

The FAQ says you can't run apps from the SM card. Looks like it is a similar job to the Clie's "file moving" scheme. Pretty useless when compard to the AutoCF of the TRGPro.
Is this a limitation in the specs of Smartedia or MemoryStick?

I thought TRpro also has that limitation
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought I read somewhere that the TRGpro has the same limitation that apps can't be run directly off the CF card. The AutoCF automatically copies and runs the application making it appears that the app. is run directly off the card.
