MiniJam Speedloader?

Hey everyone...

I wanted to find out if there was any place that old the Speedloader cheaper than Innogear. They crrently have it listed at $39.95. All it is though is a USB MMC card reader/writer so I would be willing to bet that SOMEONE has it cheaper.

Has anyone see one? Please post here if you have.

cheers

No, you have to use theirs due to the proprietary formatting of the MMC card the minijam uses (Minijam uses something called MJFS file system, the rest of the world uses FAT (aka DOS) .. the interesting bit is the Speedloader only reads/writes MJFS and does NOT support DOS formats..

oh no, I understand that I have to use their model, I just wanted to know if there were other sites that sold them cheaper. I just meant that I don't want to pay $40 for a piece of hardware that I might be able to get from another site for $30.

No one else (that I know of) sells the Speedloader except Innogear directly, you can get (normal) USB MMC readers/writers everywhere, but for the Minijam you need the Innogear Speedloader, no if-ands-or-buts about it.

did you check eBay for one?

ok...it was worth asking. $39.95 is a small price to pay for tripling my transfer speed.
