VoiceStream SMS email - doesn't work

I have a visorphone - I love it - but can't get the lame SMS program that comes with it to send an email - why? I need the Vstream Email center number - I've tried 500 and 444 and they don't work - Anyone know the right number?

I found the gateway number on the site but not the center number

Also, Anyone found a really good way to mount a VisorPhone Prism in their car, I found a charger for it but now way to really mount it for use

Any help is really appreciated

From what I understand, the basic plan doesn't allow the use of SMS e-mails, just standard SMS messages. I personally upgraded to the Talk & Text plan which has a few more minutes, more SMS msgs, plus allows for SMS e-mails. After switching I called up Customer Service to find out what the e-mail center number was... They gave me +12063130004.

However, I couldn't ever get messages to go out using the drop down selection of SMS E-mail center. I had to send a message to "500" instead. For the text of the message I put the e-mail address followed by a space and then the text of the message. If you've tried that already you may need to make sure that you can send SMS e-mails from your account.

I got Ping Pong Service and in and out works for SMS but not Email center - Ill try what you suggested and use 500

when I tried that before I got a stock ticker error reply...

Just an adendum to what Briguy said.
500 is the phone number, then Email Address then space to denote the suject then # to denote begining of text.
ie.

500
[email protected] I'm sending you an Email # This is the Emial I am sending you.
