Etrex GPS

I've been reading the archives about the Visor and GPS. I decided that Etrex or Earthmate was the best solution for me. I only have the 2mb model, I huess I'll need to use the Springboard for a memory module, therefore cannot use the Magellan unit.

I would like to use the GPS in a car or motorcycle.

1) Can I use the Etrex/Earthmate with a laptop?
2) Which has a display option? I don't need to see myself on a streetmap, I'd rather have clear large directonal arrows instead.
3) Is there a "recalculate" option? In case one makes a wrong turn, the unit can compensate and display new directions?
4) I will need a memory module, right?

Thanks.
