Question has anyone ordered PIDirect yet?

Well I have. We're supposed to get some kind of unlock code via
email, but I haven't received mine yet (been about an hour). I was
wondering if anyone else had ordered it yet, and if so, if they had
received their codes via email yet. How long did it take?

I still have to pay though MY parents choose NOT to spoil me - mean them..

How I do online purchases. I pay my dad cash for what I want. He goes online and buys it. It gets shipped to me, and I/m happy!

I ordered mine this morning (#10045) and did not include a registration number either. As of 4:45 EST this afternoon I have not heard or received anything from them. I already have my 64mb card (from Sam's Club at about $65) and am looking forward to using this a lot.

When I checked out the reg screen on pidirect it says when you unlock you can use more than 20 files? Did they up the file usage to 20 from 10 for this new update. Thats not bad, not good enough for me, i gotta run EVERYTHING off it so im way over 20 files.

Also you thin kthey are gonna up the price of Memplug and just include piDirect on it in the future? Pidirect puts a whole new dayjob on the product. Way more marketable and something everyone would need im sure.

STILL NO UNLOCK CODE! FREE ME FROM MY UNREGISTERED PRISON PIDIRECT!

#100097 here for me. Still no code. But someone on the Memplug mailing list said PIT's website says 1-2 business days! I can't believe it!

BTW, I did not put in my Reg Code either. It is not required on their form, so I am not worried about it. If it is required, and it takes an extra day or two to get my code because of it, I'm gonna be pissed at PIT for messing that up.

Argh....

By the way YOU DO NEED THE REG CODE. My order was 100011, and
I got email from them stating that they needed the Reg Code. I
emailed it back to them, but have not got my code yet either.

I would think they would need the regcode so they can plug it into some sort of key generator, along with your Hotsync name. BTW, I did include the regcode in my original order (#1000020). I'm wondering if they are purposefully not filling the order since the promised compatibility issues are not yet resolved with a few software applications. I just checked to see if my CC has been charged yet, and it hasn't.

Anyone else notice on the reg screen it says "Pilot User Name:"?

Actually, they bumped it from 10 to 20 in the last update, Beta4.

Smile RegCode Required

Before purchasing PiDirect at PiTech's web site, you should go to the download section and get the 1.6 updater. After installing the update, click on PiDirect. A nag screen will appear stating that this is an evaluation version. Click on "Register." You will then see your PilotUserName and the RegCode below that. That code is what you need when you go to fill out the form when you buy it.

I know when you click add to cart it will show a pop up window that talks about a new certificate or something. THere is a couple of those b4 it actually gets to the meat of the order where you can checkout. Maybe if you try another browser if you have one. Or maybe somethign isnt enabled on your browser to allow that stuff. All i know is that make sure you fill in the reg code and get ready to wait longer than you'd like.
