Is it better to charge the Full Charge unit every night or better to let it discharge to get most battery life? I anectotedly noted that if I let my battery go below 80% I can get it charge up to 2.76 Volts but if I charge it with more than 80% charge in it I will only get 2.69 V after a full nights charge.

While NiMH's don't suffer from the same "memory" effect that NiCad's do, I've found that letting them run down a bit before charging does seem to allow them to be more fully charged. I try not to let my FullCharge dip below 50-60%... of course, with that charger cord sitting on the desk, most days it gets plugged in whether it needs it or not.
