I was running IRLink on my visor to hotsync(thus avoiding needing to opurchase a serial cable), and it was wrking perfectly. i love the app. unfortunately, windows fried my hard drive and i had to get a new one(hard drive). i'm assuming i dont need to reinstall anything on the visor since the 2 files are there, ive reinstalled palm desktop

butnow IRLink is acting wierd. I will hotsync, it will say its syncing everything(addressbook etc etc), then when its done, the palm desktop will be blank, no data is transferred from the visor. occasionally, after this the visor says "waiting for sender" which i find kind of strange. ive fiddled around endlessly with different settings/setup for different coms and so forth, but nothing seems to work and im confused as to what the settings should be. im running win95.

any help anyone could provide would be great
