How many of us are ex-Palm users? Just curious. I have a Palm IIIx that my 8-year old son uses now.

Me, too. I had a Palm III that now belongs to Mrs V. When Handspring comes out with a color Visor, my BVDlx will go to her, too.

Well, I had a Palm IIIx. It was good (my first), but I thought HSVD had more to offer at a better price.

Any one want to buy a Palm IIIx Franklin Planner Edition cheap? 6 months old and pristine! Love my Visor!

Bought Palm Pro, upgraded to III functionality after about a year, fried itself after another year, though about new Palm but got Vdx instead. No regrets about any of 'em.

I bought a Palm personal for my wife thinking she would not like it and give it to me. Well she kept it. I then bought one and upgraded it to a Professional. I then bought a Palm IIIx that kept crashing and loosing data. It was faulty so I sent it back. Then my daughter broke the PPP screen so I bought my self the Visor for my xmas gift!

I purchased a Palm IIIx last July and loved it.

But when I heard the announcement for the Visor in Sept., I ordered my 2 days later.

I gave a Visor Solo to my Daughter for Christmas. And now my wife wants to upgrade from the Palm IIIx to my Visor (She knows when the next version of Visors are out, I will order one ).

I went from a Rex Pro that was given to me as a christmas gift.....traded that for a Palm Pro on ebay, got the Palm III card (no ir) from my father in law that bought a TRG 8 meg chip, broke my Palm Pro after a few years, and went to Handspring and will never go back to Palm.

I had an original Palm Pilot that worked for many years till it just started to run out of steam. I saw the Handsping ad in an in-flight magazine, went to the website, and the rest is history. I gave my oldest daughter the pilot so she could get used to working with this technology (she is a junior in college), and I can see these devices becoming much more common for the future generations.

I don't regret getting my Visor Delux, since once more of these modules come out, the flexibility of the unit will be great. The biggest factor for me was the price of the unit for what you got compared to the Palm.

I had a Palm Pilot 1000 (with the memory upgrade) that I purchased when it first came out. It was just about dead when the visor came out, so...

I bought a 5000 after the Pro came out and later upgraded it to a III (with no backlight). Them I bought a IIIx and gave the 5000 to my wife.

After getting close to filling up the 4 MB on the IIIx (books), I saw the Visor and bought it, gave the IIIx to my wife and sold the 5000.
