Question

Someone had mentioned that Staples had them for $149, plus a $30 off coupon. Well I found the coupon, but the website only shows the EM 1 for sale, not the 2. Anyone found a great deal?

IMHO the EM2 is def. one of the SBs that is worth every penny of its orig. asking price. If you can get ANY discount for it, more pwr. to you. But I doubt you'll be disap. even if you don't. I NEVER even use the movie option, but I'm still 101% happy w/it....

I was the one who said that a couple of weeks ago, and I was wrong. The display at Staples had a picture of an EM2 with a caption underneath that said "Eyemodule." The price listed was $149.95. When I said I wanted one (an EM2), the clerked checked the store's inventory, and said they were sold out. So he wrote down the SKU number and ordered one. When it came in, he opened the box and it turned out to be an EM1. So he called a few other stores and only one had one in stock. When I went to that store, they scanned the product, and it came up as $199.95.

All this was a misunderstanding based on an incorrect display, so they honored the price. As far as the coupon, that was a $20 "customer appreciation" discount that was going on for a three-day period. So I actually did get the Eyemodule2 for $129.95 plus tax. Staples does sell the EM2 in stores, if not on their website, but it lists for $199.95. Staples sells the EM1 $149.95. Sorry about the false info. But trust me: the EM2 rocks, even at $200.

I gotcha

Sounds good. Too bad Staples doesn't sell them online, since they fave a sweet $30 off anything above $150 coupon. I think Amazon.com has a $30 off $200 I could use since they sell it. Thanks for the info.
