Angry Prism turns off! argh!!!

I've recently been plagued with my Prism turning off unexpectedly. I've had this unit for about 6 months without any problems until now.

It usually begins this behavior when I first get the low battery message (at 30%). The screen will just go black, and pressing the ON button results in a flicker -- sometimes it will turn on and most times it won't. I have to repeatedly press the ON button until I get lucky and the screen reappears.

Anyone else have this problem? I called HS support and they told me to do a hard reset and see if it happens with a simple system load, which it does. I'm ready for a new unit.

Unhappy turn off

I've had the same problem, though I haven't noticed it happening in connection with the low battery message. Mine seems to happen in spurts, like a three or four times one day then not again for a couple of days.

Mine happens in spurts too, which is difficult to explain to HS support. I can't readily duplicate the problem, but when it happens it happens and it becomes a real pain not to mention the heart palpatations that it produces.
