Hi, guys.
While I don't have a Visor, I do have a Palm IIIx, and my computer runs WinME.
I was able to hotsync earlier today, I'm now unable to. This has happened to me before when I've run Win98se, so I know it's not just an issue with WinME.
I've tried both serial ports, at varied speeds.
No luck. 
Has anyone else had this problem? And how have you fixed it?
