Angry Ok -its me again

So

after living with this paint coming, and attending 2 shows (CES and Macworld) where I confronted the guys in the booths (yeah I know, they are just booth dudes) and trying to find out if handspring is going to do for the last few weeks, if anyting, i thought I would post a comment or two more about this subject

1) The wearing has gotten worse on the two primary units.

2) I bought a Platinum last week for my father in, brand new, and who, in less than 1 week, the paint is starting to show rub marks.

3) Contacted Handspring support regarding #2, first call, never hard of such a thing, return it to the store for a replacement. Second call (same day), I am informed that Handspring is aware of this issue, and when they resolve it they will inform everyone.....hmm thats interesting....

So now I have units purchased at different times, and they are doing the same thing.

Just thought I would let everyone know, as I am addicted to these units otherwise, and I had to tell someone who would listen that I was diappointed in handspring for not resolving this issue by now, even for the units they are shipping now.

I think bkbk's got some serious issues not related to pda's or paint.

Hare Krishna! Jesus loves even the lowest of us, don't you know? Try READING the Bible sometime, bkbk! It might be just what you need...thumping it doesn't do much good...

Okay, okay, I agree - we should let it rest. Next time I see a posting by bkbk, I'll just ignore it and I urge everyone to do the same, otherwise we'll all spend a lot of time and server space answering to his rants instead of helping each other out.

Oh yeah, I just noticed that the new upgraded discussion section can now accept direct picture file uploads.

Anyway, here's my Prism with the paint off:

check out the space near the reset hole. The picture is a few months old and the paint problem is even worse now.

At least Bible thumpers are attempting to sell the truth. Telemarketers are just looking to make a buck! ;-)

BTW how do I put an icon smiley here?

Kingdom-building, Bible-wielding Christian Prism owner (yes the paint is smudges...it even has a small crack. I love it anyway...despite its imperfections!)
