Angry

I've been trying to reach them for the last few hrs and no one seems to be answering the phones. I wanted to upgrade from my regular Visor to a Dx (blue!!) but changed my mind b/c it would probably delay my shipping till December.
I've been offered a Palm III for around $150 CDN (US$100)... it's used, but everything there. Good deal?

I'd say not; the price of a III from ValueAmerica is only US$100, minus the $100 rebate they have going for Visa cardholders. Since the unit you are looking at is used, I'd say %30 off (at least).

I went to valueamerica and didn't see any reference to $100 off for a Visa card. Where did you get this info?

Take a look at the Off-Topic threads - "IIIx for $162" or something like that. I think the $100 can be applied only to purchases over $200. No?

It's a heck of a deal! I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't seriously thinking of grabbing a $162.00 Palm IIIX, and cancelling my VDX......what to do??????????

Cool

The valueamerica prices may be a good deal but there's no way I would consider getting a Palm IIIx instead of a Visor Deluxe! If it comes in a low enough price, I might consider the Palm Vx though.

It works! Unfortunately I think they only ship to the US (not to Canada).

Exclamation

Don't get too excited folks. Yes, you can get a total of $120 "Value Dollars" just by signing up at the two sites. But read the fine print: Value Dollars can only account for a max of 50% of the item's cost.

Then again, I don't recall mention of what happens if you buy more than one product that totals whatever. I suspect that your items will need to ad up to more than $240 to get the $120 off. Happy shopping!

Red face

It is $100 off any purchase totaling $200 or more. Ergo, if something is $200 you pay only $100. If something is $250 you pay $150, if it is $500 you pay $400, $5000 then you pay $4900. So if you want the palm III it is $199, add a $5 stylus, and your purchase total is then $204 and you get $100 off or $104.

I used my $100 rebate last time around for a Sony Play Station for my grandson ended up free after purchase of 2 games & HP cartridges to make total of $204.00 plus no tax to NY. This time around I will buy a DVD while I wait for my Visor
