Directly connect Prism to printer...how?

I want to be able to connect my Prism directly to a printer using something like printboy and a cable, NOT buying some wireless stuff. Any idea if this is possible? And if so where do I get a cable to do it? I found a few hotsync to usb adapters (see link) would that work? Thanks.

Well, I know you can do it by adding IR capabilities to the printer. The people who make PrintBoy and Proporta.com both offer these devices.

I had the IReady adapter and it works as advertised. You can also get several kinds of printers that are IR ready out of the box, such as the Canon BJC-55 and several laser printers.

I believe I have seen hot-sync port to serial cables available (Brando? www.shop.brando.com.hk), and I think I have seen serial to parallel adapters (Radio Shack?) that will allow you to plug the serial cable into a printer. Then, if PrintBoy has the right drivers, you ought to be able to print I think.
