Just got my Sunday paper ads (we get 'em on Saturday ) and the CompUSA ad shows the Xircom SpringPort Modem for $149.99 with a $50.00 mail-in rebate! My local store's gonna see me tomorrow!

Mark, It seems I'm follwing you on the VC discussion boards, and again Ihave to say GREAT FIND!!! Iwonder why Xircom is giving such a big mail-in rebate, to get you hooked o ntheir line of springboards? I'm already hooked, because I want my 802.11b!!! (wireless ethernet)

That means that one of the best modems is the lowest cost. If I get a chance I'l drop by them tomorrow, but with my budget I'm not planning on spending $100. Maybe they can give me a raincheck. :hope:
