Where did my downloaded file go on my Edge?

First of all, I'm brand new to the Visor Edge. I really like it. Now more problem(s). I downloaded a text file in .pdb format off the Internet. I then went to the Palm Desktop and Clicked on Install HandHeld Files. I then clicked "Add" and choose this document. I then did a HotSync.

My question is - where is the file now? I don't really know where to look for it at. I did a search of the whole Edge and found it there but I can't seem to find it where my document is?

Also, how do I move a file into a Games folder. I've installed it but it appears with all my other stuff and not in the Games Folder.

ANy helps is apprecaited.

The PDB format text file will not have an icon in the launcher on the handheld. You'll need an appropriate reader program to access it.

To move an app from one category to another, tap the menu icon (lower left corner of the Graffiti area) and select Category. Locate the app you want moved and select the appropriate category name.

Anything with PDB means Palm DataBase. So, you need a PRC (program) to run it. For a text file, something like CSpotRun (run a search at palmgear.com) will read it. When you download a PDB, make sure to look for the associated PRC program.

As for the category, on the launcher, tap the menu button and tap "category" there you should be able to assign programs to caregories.

Ok it seems eveyone told you everything but to go to memoware.com or palmgear.com to download cspotrun.

memoware.com, as i foundout, is probably the best for free ebooks and neat docs.

Dont forget to download "avantgo" and "vindigo" will your at it!

Not working just yet

Hey Thunderbird. Thanks for the tips. I downloaded CSpotRun but the program says it only reads .doc files and not .pdb

What to do now??

It's DOC, not .doc - and a DOC file (usually) has a .pdb extention.

IOW:
.doc is a MS Word document
.pdb is a Palm database
.prc is a Palm program (or a DOC file)
DOC is a Palm file format
