Any help here would be greatly appreciated.
We have one computer and two devices.
My wife has a visor, and uses the palm desktop to sync. I have a palm device and want to use Outlook 2000 to sync.

For some reason, I cannot make the two user profiles sync with the repective software that we want. We either have to both sync to outlook, or both sync to the palm desktop.

Any ideas on how to set-up the conduit so different user profiles can sync to a different software?

Thanks!

Similar circumstances in my home...

we both have visors, I like the Palm desktop, she likes outlook. You will need windows 98.

Set up 2 users under control panel. One with your name and one with hers...

restart the computer..

Log in under your name and install the palm software and pocket mirror, etc. to sync your palm with outlook.

restart computer ...log in under your name again and test a sync to see that it's all set up properly.

Restart computer..

log in under her name. and install the palm desktop software.

Restart computer and log in under her name again and perform a test sync.

From now on, when you want to sync, you'll have to log in under your name and she'll have to log in under her name to sync. the draw back is having to click on 'log off <name>' and then logging in as other user when you want to both hotsync.
Advantage? now you have your own personal desktop which you can customize with whichever icons you prefer and she can do the same...so in effect, it's almost like having 2 computers...however only one of you can use it at a time
