Anyone having this problem when placing Visor in USB cradle Win2k powers off?

No problems here yet...had it for a month or so and haven't had any issues. A couple questions though...have you installed service pack 1 for win 2000? if not I recommend it first that may fix the issue. Secondly I'm assuming you have the newest version of the Visor desktop software from Handsprings site since you can really get it to work right unless you do. If not get that and install it aswell. Cool

I have the latest service pack as well as the latest visor software. It's really weird because it doesn't happen all the time. I was wondering if it was caused by static electricity or something.

Somebody else had that problem a little while ago (it might actually have been a couple of people). I would reccomend doing a search and seeing what comes up. I belive the problem was that the pins were shorting out the USB connection which made the computer turn off.
I had that problem with a PS/2 port. When I hit two of the pins together the board would completly short out. It would then restart.
