Question

I want to buy a set of Write Rights for my BVDx, but can't justify paying >$2 a pop for them from Concept Kitchen. Does anyone know of any other places (on the Internet or retail) where they can be bought for less?

Last time I checked, buy.com had them for about $14 for a 12 pack.

Parb33,

Today I just went to a craft store and picked up some clear vinyl. I am not sure on the thickness but, it was the next size up from the thinnest one they had. The only thing is that you would have to cut them yourself, which can be a pain. I got 1/2 yard for $1.19, which will probally last longer than the visor. It seems to be ok, but I think it is the all up to the individual person. Give it a try.....

I usually use 8 gauge vinyl. Works like a champ, and reduces screen glare.
Wash it with soap and water, rinse, and leave a few drops clinging. Apply wet using a credit card as a squeegee.
My trouble is trying to cut the blasted things so the corners and sides are square to each other.

Thumbs up

Go to Kinko's buy a pack of CLEER-ADHEER clear plastic laminating sheets. It costs $2.50 for two 8 1/2 x 11 sheets. You can cut them right at Kinko's with the paper cutter to insure a straight cut.

It works for me... Write Rights are too expensive.
