Talking

Ordered mine Wed. October 18 at 1:00pm eastern time, and got it Friday, October 20th at 10:00am eastern time. Wow, that was fast! Now, watching it charge for 2 hours is going to kill me!

Cool

Ordered Thursday, shipped Friday, expecting Monday (Express shipping). Hurray for Handspring!!! :^)

{UPDATE}
Arrived Monday @ about 9:30. That color screen is RAD!!! BTW, mine came partly charged, so I could turn it on and see what it looked like (then see what the new dialogs look like when it gave me a low battery warning :^) ). You can use it while it's charging in the cradle, too. The metal stylus is much better than the old toothpick. :^)

Oboy, oboy! Checked Handspring Customer service about 7:00am EST on 24 Oct, and "Awaiting Shipping" had changed to "Shipped"!!
Let's see how long actual shipping takes...

Ordered Mon. the 16, at about 4:00 pm. Took the free shipping route.

Arrived in Midland, TX on Mon. 23, at about 3:00 pm. (I tracked the package Sat. and it sat in the Midland UPS warehouse all weekend! Frustrating. )

BTW, don't our old deluxes look, well, OLD!

I love color!

Cool

Ordered Monday the 16th with the free shipping . . . .

I also had to wait an agonizing weekend waiting for my visor to be released from warehouse bondage, but it was worth the wait! Had it in my hands late afternoon yesterday and all I can say is that the world is NOW truly multi-colored!

Gotta love the prism

Great Service! I ordered online on Sunday night, and my Prism was delivered on Tuesday afternoon. I charged it up, used my Backup Module to move 8Mb of files from the old Visor, and it all worked like a charm. Downloaded Freecell, to check out the color - looks great. Went to dinner with a friend who is CEO of a computer firm, showed him my Prism, and blew him away.
Yay for Handspring; Now let's hope the stock price goes up more.

Ordered Monday, Oct. 23rd at 1pm EDT with express shipping. Received Wednesday, Oct. 25th at 9am EDT. Transferred almost everything (I skipped Unsaved Prefs, the HS 3.1H3 upgrade, and all the hacks) from my VDX via pilot-xfer on Linux and life is good! Way to go Handspring! Now I just have to decide if I'm going to keep it

Smile

Ordered my Prism at 6:00am Wednesday, 10/25 (express shipping).
Received Prism on Friday morning, 10/27.
But... still waiting on serial cradle (backordered).

BTW - transfer from VDx was smooth as silk, thanks to the Backup Module.

Post Serial cradle now shipping

LizB

Don't despair, I order the serial cradle when the Prism was announced and it just arrived yesterday. Yours should arrive soon.

Arrow

I ordered mine around noon on 2000.10.24 with regular shipping (needed to save the money so I could slightly-better-afford the 8MB Flash module), but it didn't ship until 2000.10.26. As of right now, it's still in Herminston, OR, so I should see it Monday afternoon sometime...

But I too remember the shipping woes of last year... A week ain't nearly as bad as a month or more...

(Oh yeah, still waiting--like others--for the serial cradle to ship).
