Palm Desktop on OS X

I was wondering why Palm Desktop suspends when it's not in the foreground? It seems to sit there until I click on the hotsync icon in the dock and pull it up front, but it could be a setting i'm not familiar with.

I'm not quite sure what you mean. Are you talking about the titlebar becoming translucent when you pull another app to the foreground?

I've been able to hot sync while doing other things. Is the hot sync timing out from the visor side?

Are you using the OS9 version or the OSX version?

I ran it again to make sure, it seems the the Pocket Quicken conduit is the one that hangs when not in the foreground. I look on the Prism screen and it will say "Synchronizing PQKN-memorized (in this case) and stay until I pull Palm Desktop to the foreground. For example - It has been displaying this on the Prism screen for the duration of making this post (browser in front), I also didn't transport my old data from my PC, so I just have 2 transactions on Quicken to date -Balance forward and the chubby (but pricy) iPod purchase. Well, enough rambling - I need this to sync! Thanks for the help,
