Hi There,

I use the City Time program a lot. I really, really like it. So, as I was sitting on my sofa last Friday morning, I was following the New Year on my Visor.

Now, when I first got my Visor I could use the stylus to 'point' at cities all over the globe and their current time would pop up.

Sitting on my sofa, however, any time I tried to check on Russia, I was defaulted to Beijing. Which was the most Northern point I could check on.

There are actually several 'patches' on the world map I can no longer access.

Anyone else see this? Got any hints as to what caused the problem or what will fix it?

(Even though there are cities which do not come up when I point to them, they are still in the "City List" and no other application is giving me problems.)

I tried it and had the same issue for the Russian cities in the NE part of Russia. Looks like there are not as many hotspots (click points not world trouble areas ) as there are entries in the db.

This is the way I found easier to "spot" a city.

Instad of trying to tap on the city (although you could get a bit better accuracy by playing with Digitizer), I would touch a point and "drag" it around until I found a city I was looking for. Hope it works for you too.

I have another problem. I'd like to add another city, but I don't know how to find exact latitude and longtitude. You can call me stupid or whatever...but I can't. :'(

Does anyone know any site I can find those out? Thanks!

Yes, I have sort of dragged the stylus around the map to locate cities, but what I am saying is that THE NORTH HALF OF MY WORLD IS NOT RESPONDING! You can point, you can drag, but instead of showing you cities right under your stylus, the crosshair still remains at the bottom half of the world.

Now, for longitude and latitude. You might try a GIS site such as esri.com to get that info. nationalgeographic.com may also have it on their maps site. The Esri site has links to other GIS sites which may help you out as well. Check also with your state's chamber of commerece website to see if the state has a GIS site (they should, most do.)

For latitude and longitude, try <href="http://www.mapblast.com">www.mapblast.com</a>. You can simply type in an address, and once it's found, look for a link to "more information". You'll find the lat & long for your address! Very slick, and handy if you have a GPS unit too.
