Unhappy AIM for Palm and the Digital Link?

Has anyone gotten AIM 1.1 for PalmOS to work on their Visor/SprintPCS Digital Link combo?

I have a Visor Pro and the Digital Link. I can connect to the web fine, but when I try to sign into AIM it comes back with an error saying "Could not log you on. Please check your screen name and/or password" This happened on my Visor Deluxe and the digital link and I was hoping it would go away when I got my Pro.

I know the screen name and password are fine. I don't have any Hacks or Hackmaster installed.

Any help is appreciated,

I'm not entirely sure if this helps, but I've read somewhere that some palm query applications (PQAs) do not work with the Sprint Digital Link. No sure why. Sorry.

I have a Platinum/VisorPhone combo with Cingular service (CA) and tried AIM. However, since my connection is not truly an 'always on', I really didn't see any use to the PQA and deleted it from my VPL. It did work as advertised.

If I am not mistaken AIM for PalmOS is not a PQA.
Is there a PQA for AIM that is separate from AOL's AIM for Palm program?

Thanks,
