I have a Win98SE notebook running Outlook 2000 setup for Corporate/Workgroup. I'm am syncing Outlook to my Visor using PocketMirror 3.0. Sometimes, HotSync simply won't connect. If I close Outlook, and try to HotSync, it will work. It seems to work with Outlook open the first time after I boot, but then won't work on subsequent syncs unless I close Outlook. Any thoughts on this one?

I dont think that the issue is whther Outlook is open or not. I use WIN98 SE and Outlook 2K and I always leave outlook open when I sync and it works fine. The question is- if it works when Outlook is closed, perhaps you should consider leaving it closed?

Kind of defeats the purpose of having Outlook doesn't it?
